Q. How can I calculate shipping charges before I decide on a purchase?

When you add an item to your cart, a “floating shopping cart” will open in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. Click on the SHIPPING CALCULATOR, insert your state and zip code, then press APPLY. The shipping charges will appear there and also on your checkout screen. Shipping charges will then update automatically if you add other items to your cart. When you are ready to pay, your state and zip code will automatically load into the shipping field. Just add your phone number and email address, then press the "Continue" button at the bottom of your screen. This will take you to PayPal's payment screen where you can log in if you have a PayPal account, or add your shipping and payment information if you don’t.

Q. What shipping services do you use?

Residential Relics utilizes U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail and UPS Ground Service for delivery anywhere in the continental United States. We prefer Priority Mail for smaller items, and UPS Ground for large or heavy packages. We generally ship within 1-2 business days. We'll send you an email to let you know when your order has shipped and give you the tracking information for your package(s). If you prefer to stop at our showroom to complete your purchase, just select “Local Pickup at Minneapolis Showroom” as your shipping method, and then contact us to make arrangements. (Delivery service is also available in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area for an additional charge.)

Q. Can I have my order shipped to a different address?

Sorry, no. We are unable to insure your shipment against loss or damage unless we ship to a "confirmed" address, which means the address for the payment method you use must match your ship-to address. PayPal endorses this policy to protect buyers against unauthorized use of their credit cards and bank accounts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Q. Do I have to sign for my shipment when it's delivered?

Yes, if your order exceeds $250. Residential Relics is unable to insure any shipment valued over $250 against loss or damage if we do not obtain a signature at the time of delivery.

Q. Where will you ship?

We only ship within the continental U.S. at this time.

Q. What if I pay more than it costs to ship my order?

Because it is not feasible to completely pack each item to determine the actual shipping costs, we have instead set shipping rates based on the purchase price. Although the purchase price might be the same for two items, there could be a big difference in the cost to ship a large, heavy item as compared to a smaller, lighter one. It is not our intention to make money on shipping fees. If our actual cost to process and ship your order (PayPal fee plus shipping fee) is less than what you paid for shipping, we will refund the difference. Please contact us with any questions.
