Shipping Information

Residential Relics utilizes U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail and UPS Ground Service for delivery anywhere in the continental United States. We prefer Priority Mail for smaller items, and UPS Ground for large or heavy packages. We ship as soon as possible, but generally within 1-2 business days. We'll send you an email to let you know your order has shipped. (Sorry, but we don't ship outside the continental U.S.)

Some transactions cannot be completed online because an item is too fragile to ship, or may require special shipping arrangements (for example, most chandeliers, extra large, heavy or fragile glass items). In that case, the “Add to Cart” button has been replaced with a request to contact us to discuss possible shipping options or to arrange for local pickup or delivery

It's not our intention to make money on shipping fees. Although a purchase price might be the same for two items, there could be a big difference in costs to ship a large, heavy item as compared to a smaller, lighter one. If our actual cost to process and ship your order (PayPal fee plus shipping fee) is considerably less than what you paid for shipping, we will refund the difference. Please contact us with any questions.

Q. Can I have my order shipped to a different address?
Sorry, no. We are unable to insure your shipment against loss or damage unless we ship to a "confirmed" address, which means the address for the payment method you use must match your ship-to address. PayPal endorses this policy to protect buyers against unauthorized use of their credit cards and bank accounts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Q. Do I have to sign for my shipment when it's delivered?
Yes, if your order exceeds $250. Residential Relics is unable to insure any $250+ shipment against loss or damage if we do not obtain a signature at the time of delivery.

Q. How can I see shipping charges in my cart?

Just fill in your zip code in the shipping field and press the "Apply" button, which loads shipping charges into your order form. When you're ready to pay, press the "Continue" button at the bottom of the screen, which takes you to PayPal's payment screen.

Q. Can I buy locally and avoid shipping costs?
Absolutely! (But don't place your order online where shipping charges automatically calculate). Instead, just contact us to make arrangements for local delivery or pick-up.
